Bennett & Pless is seeking bright and motivated civil engineering or engineering technician students for our summer internship program in Nashville, Tennessee.

You’d be responsible for:

• Working with the Project Team on conceptual designs, design development and production.
• Coordinating with architects, fabricators, and contractors to meet overall project objectives.
• Resolving complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions.
• Producing graphic presentations, 3D renderings and construction drawings.
• Assisting in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination.
• Contributing to office standards, activities, initiatives and learning programs.
• Gaining general structural framing knowledge to assist structural engineers in coordination with the architects model

You’d be a great fit if you:

• Are currently enrolled in a design/drafting program.
• Possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written are required.
• Are a self-starter and always willing to listen, learn and improve.
• Have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment on multiple projects, tasks and deadlines, and bring each to completion.
