What You Will Do:

We are looking for a highly motivated and innovative structural engineer with 2 to 5 years of relevant prior commercial/residential design experience and good communication skills. Responsibilities will include the development of 3D models utilizing REVIT and RISA software.

Responsibilities:

• REVIT modeling for the design and detailing structural systems for residential, institutional and commercial buildings of various sizes and material types.
• Development of 3-D structural analysis models using RISA structural engineering software.
• Communication with clients to understand and coordinate project requirements
• Performance of site visits and prepare field reports
• Candidate will work with both single family residential and commercial/institutional design teams.

What We Are Looking For:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering emphasis from an ABET accredited school (Master’s degree preferred).
• EIT preferred.
• Working knowledge of Revit is required.
• 1-3 years of relevant prior commercial/residential design experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Prior timber/wood experience preferred but not required.

Skills and Competencies:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, manage multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines, and bring each to completion.
• Ability to identify applicable codes in project-specific jurisdictions and apply to the project.
• Must have strong written and communication skills.
