ATLANTA, Georgia – April 19, 2021 – Bennett & Pless, a leading structural engineering firm in the US, announced that William “Bill” Brown Jr, PE, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer, a new position within Bennett & Pless. In addition, Melinda Parrish Brumfield has been named Chief Strategy Officer of Bennett & Pless.

Prior to this appointment, William Brown was responsible for leading the overall operations of Wenck. At this prominent multi-disciplinary consulting firm, he was their Chief Operating Officer and served as a member of their Executive Team, setting strategy, and managing operations for the organization. He was instrumental in their successful growth from a $20M small business to a $50M enterprise with over 300 employees in 12 offices across the US.
Melinda Parrish Brumfield has more than two decades of experience in the A/E/C industry in a business development and management role. She has positioned the firm successfully in the data center, and light industrial markets, has been instrumental in our mergers and the growth of our new offices, and is a critical driver behind the success of our BPL Building Enclosure practice.
