Larry McGinnis, PE, Bennett & Pless’ Vice President in Charlotte, is one of six people which makes up the Academic Advisory Board for the UNC Charlotte Civil and Environmental Engineering Department.
The Board is made up of the Civil Engineering Department Head John Daniel, Manuel Zapata, founder of Zapata Engineering and three other senior principals in engineering firms, one of whom is the President to GEOPIER Company.
Their role will be to advise the faculty of potential new curriculum and help to set up standards for a new department they are planning on adding for a BS in Construction Engineering.
